The Road to RVing

OK, so things are starting to move at a rapid pace for us. Our planned vacation is barreling down on us. We are going to have the house on the market while we are gone. We have been working around the house at break-neck pace, throwing up some fresh paint, new carpet, replaced windows, packed stuff in boxes piled in the garage and closets. Vacation has morphed somewhat to now having the focus on getting to S. Dakota to probably establish new residency. We still want to do the Grand Ol' Opry for Jeanne's BIG "5-0" BIRTHDAY (!!!!!!). Even though we may return from vacation with a new residence out of state, our intention is to remain here, probably at the KOA in Petaluma, through the end of the year. And from there, wherever the wind takes us is where we will be found. The anticipation is mind numbing!

Max is currently undertaking his first swim lessons at the YMCA in Santa Rosa, CA.  He is a natural in the water, we're gonna have to keep checking him for gills soon!

A Work in Progress

Please bear with us.  This blog is a work in progress which is a somewhat daunting task for those of us  who are technologically challenged, such as myself.  Thank God for genius computer geeks like Jeanne or I would be lost...If you make fun of me I will send you some visitors I know...

Spring Training 2012

We did our first Spring Training run to Arizona this year.  Stayed in Mesa and our son Chad flew in to catch a couple Giants games with us.  It was a good time and we just happened to run into a large contingency of Jeanne's relatives  (aunt and cousins) at one of the games.  The only issue we had was the fine black soot that got tracked into the trailer and covered the puppies.  That whole Phoenix "bowl" area tends to have a bit of a smog problem, reminded me of my younger days growing up in the L.A. area.  All in all, a fun trip anyway.
